Description:
Collective Types will be leading a hands-on cyanotype workshop, introducing you to one of photography’s oldest and most beautiful alternative processes. Learn a little about the history of cyanotypes, then create your own prints using botanicals, found objects, and sunlight.
Each participant will leave with original handmade cyanotypes and the knowledge to continue exploring the process at home. No experience is necessary, and all materials are provided.

Join Zak for an afternoon of hands-on printmaking and learn how to turn a real slice of a tree into a one-of-a-kind work of art.
We’ll walk through the process behind tree printing - from choosing the right tree and preparing a tree slice to selecting materials, setting up your print, and getting the best impression. You’ll learn the techniques and thinking behind the process, then put them to work yourself.
And the best part: you’ll make your own tree print and take it home with you!
